Bringing home an A-K Boston Terrier is an investment in more than a puppy. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by everyday family life, and given intentional care, handling, socialization, and developmental experiences from the beginning.
We believe every puppy deserves a strong foundation before transitioning to their forever home. Because every family has different needs, we offer several homegoing options from 8 to 16 weeks.
Your investment is based on your puppy’s age at homegoing, with extended packages providing additional time for development, socialization, potty-training, training foundations, and veterinary care.
🐾 8-WEEK HOMEGOING
$2,000–$2,200
Our traditional homegoing option for families ready to welcome their A-K Boston Terrier at 8 weeks.

🐾 10-WEEK HOMEGOING
$2,500–$2,800
Our 10-week option gives your puppy two additional weeks with A-K before transitioning to their forever home.
During this additional time, we continue working on:

🐾 12-WEEK EXTENDED HOMEGOING
$3,000–$3,200
Our 12-week package gives your puppy an additional month of development beyond the traditional 8-week homegoing age.
Your puppy will continue receiving:

🌱 OUR POTTY-TRAINING APPROACH
Safety is a priority while our puppies are completing their vaccination series.
From an early age, our puppies are introduced to litter box training using alfalfa pellets. This gives them a consistent, designated potty area without requiring young puppies to walk on outdoor ground before they are appropriately vaccinated.
The natural grass-like scent of the alfalfa pellets also helps create an easier transition to outdoor potty training.
After receiving their 12-week vaccinations, we begin introducing puppies to outdoor potty training and gradually transition them from their indoor potty routine to going outside.
Choosing the 12-week package gives us additional time to reinforce these habits before your puppy comes home.

🐾 16-WEEK PREMIER DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE
$4,200–$4,400
Our most comprehensive homegoing option is designed for families who want their puppy to remain with A-K through 16 weeks of age.
This package provides eight additional weeks beyond our traditional 8-week homegoing age, allowing significantly more time for maturity, socialization, potty training, training foundations, and veterinary care.
During this time, your puppy continues receiving:

✓ Confidence-building experiences
✓ Crate-training foundations
✓ Continued potty-training development
✓ Outdoor potty-training experience after 12-week vaccinations
✓ Grooming and handling practice

🩺 ADDITIONAL VETERINARY CARE
The 16-week package includes an extended vaccination and veterinary schedule.
Your puppy will receive:
✓ First puppy vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian
✓ Second and third vaccinations administered at home
✓ Fourth vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian
✓ Rabies vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian
✓ Additional veterinary examination before going home

By 16 weeks, your puppy has had significantly more time to mature within our home, gain additional life experience, begin outdoor potty training after the appropriate vaccination milestone, and prepare for their transition to their forever family.

🏡 OUR PUPPY DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
Our puppies are raised inside our home, not in an isolated kennel environment.
They experience the sounds, routines, handling, people, and activity of everyday family life. We believe these experiences help puppies develop confidence and adaptability while giving us the opportunity to get to know each puppy as an individual.
We continue age-appropriate socialization and developmental work throughout their time with us, regardless of which homegoing package is selected.
🌱 POTTY TRAINING & VACCINATION SAFETY
Young puppies are vulnerable to infectious diseases before completing their vaccination series. For this reason, we take precautions with where our puppies walk and play.
While puppies are young, we use alfalfa-pellet litter boxes as their designated potty area. The natural grass-like scent provides a familiar foundation when we begin transitioning puppies outdoors.
Once puppies have received their 12-week vaccinations, we begin introducing them to outdoor potty training.
Our goal is to provide a safe potty-training foundation early while gradually preparing puppies for the routine they will continue in their forever homes.

Individual puppy pricing may vary within each package based on pairing, pedigree, sex, size, structure, and individual characteristics.
🏆 FULL AKC REGISTRATION & BREEDING RIGHTS
Full AKC registration and breeding rights are not automatically included with our puppies.
Breeding rights are considered separately and are reserved for approved programs that align with the goals and standards of A-K Boston Terriers.
When breeding rights are offered, they are provided under a separate contract with specific requirements regarding responsible breeding, health testing, and appropriate pairings.
Our breeding standards require that A-K standards are bred to standard Boston Terriers and that breeding dogs meet our minimum health-testing requirements, including JHC-clear status at minimum, along with the additional testing required for our program.
📅 PICKUP & PAYMENT
Reserve Your Pickup Date in Advance
Your puppy’s pickup date must be reserved in advance when selecting your homegoing package.
Because every litter has different needs and our capacity for extended care varies, we cannot guarantee that a later pickup date will be available if you change your plans after your original selection.
Changing Your Homegoing Package
If you initially select the 8-week package and later decide that you would like your puppy to remain with A-K longer, we are happy to check availability.
Any change is:
• Subject to availability with that individual litter
• Must be approved by A-K Boston Terriers
• Subject to the applicable extended-homegoing pricing
• May include a 10% upcharge when the change is requested after the original package was selected
Selecting your desired homegoing package in advance allows us to properly plan for your puppy’s continued care.
Delayed Pickup Payment
For any puppy whose pickup is delayed beyond the original 8-week homegoing date:
50% of the total puppy price is due by the puppy’s 8-week date.
The remaining balance is due at pickup.
This applies to delayed pickups and allows us to plan for the continued food, veterinary care, daily care, socialization, training, and individual attention required during an extended stay.
Please note: Selecting a 10-, 12-, or 16-week package in advance is different from requesting a later pickup after an earlier package has already been selected. Later requests are subject to availability and may be subject to a 10% upcharge.
